Job Description

The Network Engineering team is part of the Core Tribe, which manages the cloud platform that underpins Scalable's entire infrastructure.

The team delivers core network services at scale, leverages the latest cloud‑native technologies, and maintains highly available connections to external partners.

In addition, the team designs and maintains reusable infrastructure components and provides support to development teams.

Together, these efforts provide a strong foundation for building innovative financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and operate multiple cloud networks on AWS, providing a secure and highly available environment for our internal development teams.
• Improve Scalable's cloud infrastructure and automation using AWS, Terraform, and Python.
• Ensure high‑availability connectivity for our most critical applications and partner integrations.
• Support, guide, and empower our engineering teams to further strengthen our Dev Ops culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with core AWS networking services, such as VPC, ELB, Private Link, Route 53.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
• Proficiency in at least one general‑purpose programming language.
• Nice to have: Experience with broader AWS services, network management, and network troubleshooting.
• A passion for automating and improving processes while keeping security and reliability in mind.
• A degree in a relevant field of study or work experience in a role that typically requires a university degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in an international English‑speaking environment.
