Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a Mobile Native Engineering team comprising iOS and Android engineers, fostering their career growth and team autonomy.
2. Provide technical guidance and share best practices within your team.
3. Define and set OKRs with your team to ensure clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
4. Coordinate with Product teams to organize, prioritize, and achieve business goals.
5. Participate in recruitment to attract new team members.
6. Drive technical discussions to improve Android app performance, efficiency, and scalability.
7. Lead the design and development of innovative mobile features, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to implement new features and improve the platform.

Qualifications

1. Degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Extensive experience with at least one native mobile platform: Android (Kotlin, RxJava, Compose, Coroutines) or iOS (Swift, UIKit, Autolayout).
3. Proven leadership as an Engineering Manager of high-performing teams.
4. Experience in hiring, building diverse teams, and fostering an inclusive environment.
5. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
6. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
7. Fintech experience is a plus; interest in investing or being a customer of Scalable Capital is beneficial.
