We are working with an established and growing life science instrumentation business seeking a Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the German market.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to step into a role offering significant autonomy, strong earning potential and genuine career growth. You will manage your territory, shape commercial strategy and build relationships across diverse life science customer groups.
The Opportunity
You will have end-to-end responsibility for driving growth across Germany, managing existing accounts while developing new opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, research and laboratory environments.
You will work closely with internal technical, applications and commercial teams while retaining considerable independence in how you approach the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and business development across Germany.
- Develop and execute territory strategy.
- Build relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and research organisations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Develop key accounts and identify expansion opportunities.
- Deliver presentations, demonstrations and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events.
- Collaborate with internal commercial, technical and applications teams.
- Share market intelligence to support wider commercial strategy.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a commercially driven life science sales professional with experience selling instrumentation, laboratory technologies or other technically complex products.
You are likely to have:
- Several years' experience in life science, laboratory or scientific instrumentation sales.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience managing a territory independently and developing new business.
- Confidence engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling and account development skills.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
- A relevant scientific or technical background is advantageous.
