Schoeller Ventures GmbH is the innovation and venture development platform of the Schoeller Family. Our mission is to build and scale businesses that deliver sustainable impact—ranging from circular packaging solutions such as Multiloop to next-generation energy systems. Through our energy-focused venture, GESI Giga Batteries, we are actively shaping the future of energy infrastructure by developing and operating advanced battery storage systems (BESS). Founded and led by a visionary team of C-level leaders from Deutsche Telekom, Siemens Industries, Munich Re, and BCG, GESI has made significant progress on the road to building its first BESS locations. We are now extending the focus of this project into the operational side of the BESS locations by developing AI-powered electricity trading, reinforcing our commitment to decarbonized, resilient energy systems.
