About the school

St. George's School has served the international community in Cologne for over 40 years. The role

St. George's School seeks a passionate and well-qualified Learning Support Teacher to join the flourishing Primary Department, starting in January 2027 or earlier if possible. The role provides high-quality teaching and targeted support for pupils across the Primary School, with a particular focus on SEND and EAL provision. It also involves working collaboratively in-class with class teachers to deliver inclusive teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and targeted support for pupils in the Primary School.
• Provide focused support for pupils with SEND and EAL needs.
• Collaborate with class teachers to ensure inclusive teaching practices.

Requirements

• Hold a valid teaching qualification, such as a B.Ed., M.Ed., Lehramt or PGCE.
• English language teaching certificates such as TEFL, IELTS or CELTA are not considered sufficient.
