UCHSHT Technical Glass Solutions GmbH, located in Jena, seeks a skilled specialist in mix manufacturing to join its High‑Performance Materials unit, which produces cutting‑edge glass‑ceramic and borosilicate glass solutions for the household appliances industry and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Check incoming goods and raw materials: compare delivery documents, perform visual inspection, take samples
- Store raw materials and monitor unloading
- Provide and manually fill raw materials
- Inspect over‑break quality and re‑stack material
- Monitor crushing and processing equipment
- Analyze and troubleshoot faults and support maintenance teams
- Check and clean magnetic separators, transfer stations and facilities
- Create and forward production recipes
- Control, set and monitor production plant operations
- Document silo levels and ensure correct filling and cleaning
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a process technician or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in bulk material or glass manufacturing
- Knowledge of MS‑Office, forklift licence and crane operator certification is desirable
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, initiative, flexibility, and physical resilience
- Willingness to work shifts
