In this role, you will help design, deliver, and operationalize AI solutions that create tangible business value across the organization.Your ContributionDesign and implement scalable AI and data solutions that support strategic business objectives and operational excellence across SCHOTT PharmaDrive the architecture, delivery, and operationalization of custom-built AI use cases from ideation to productive deploymentTranslate complex business challenges into pragmatic, cost-efficient, and scalable AI solutionsProvide technical leadership for AI initiatives and contribute to shaping SCHOTT Pharma's long-term AI roadmap and architecture landscapeGuide and challenge external implementation partners and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery and sustainable solutionsContribute to the development of a modern enterprise data and AI platform, establishing standards, best practices, and governance approachesSupport the integration of AI capabilities into existing business processes while ensuring maintainability, scalability, and operational readinessMonitor, optimize, and continuously improve deployed AI solutions to maximize business impactEvaluate emerging technologies and industry trends in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Data & Analytics to identify opportunities for innovationAct as a trusted advisor and translator between technical teams and business stakeholders, making AI concepts accessible and actionableYour ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in AI, Data, Machine Learning, Solution Architecture, or related disciplinesProven experience delivering AI solutions from concept through implementation and operationHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI Services, Azure AI Foundry, or comparable hyperscaler environmentsStrong programming skills, preferably in PythonExperience working with data platforms, cloud architectures, and AI solution ecosystemsKnowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, or related AI technologiesFamiliarity with Data Engineering, MLOps, or AI Operations concepts is advantageousExperience coordinating external vendors, implementation partners, or consulting teamsExperience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environments is considered a strong advantageAbility to translate complex technical topics into business-oriented recommendationsStrong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic hands-on mindsetComfortable taking ownership and providing technical guidance in cross-functional environmentsYour BenefitsSCHOTT’s openness to promote your further development is just as great as our additional benefits.
