You will be responsible for the implementation of configuration management activities in national / international projects with systems and subsystems along the entire product life cycle. You will also ensure the creation of project-specific CM plans and compliance with the applicable processes. The Following Tasks Await You

• Responsible for the implementation of Configuration Management (CM) activities in national / international projects with systems and subsystems (SW/HW) along the entire product life cycle
• Creation of project-specific CM plans and ensuring compliance with applicable processes
• Definition of CM interfaces (internal and external) – contact person for customers regarding CM aspects, requirements and change control, as well as creation and validation of product configurations through to-build / as-built baselines and support of corresponding audits (FCA/PCA)
• Maintaining the integrity of products and design states through baselining and planning as well as the implementation of release boards and change control boards (CCB)
• Measuring and reporting appropriate KPIs for both line management and projects
• Support cost and resource planning, describe work packages and ensure the progress of Time-onCost-onQuality

We Would Like

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, aerospace, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in configuration management, as well as Airbus experience desirable
• Willing to learn new things, as well as a structured, independent and proactive way of working
• Strong organizational skills
• Business fluent in German and English
• Tools: SAP, Windchill knowledge is an advantage
