This is Schweizerhof Zermatt. And this could be your next adventure. Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the daily management and supervision of the Housekeeping Department. Supervise, motivate and coordinate housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient daily operations. Prepare daily room assignments and work schedules according to occupancy and operational needs. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas to ensure hotel standards are maintained. Monitor room status and coordinate closely with Front Office to ensure timely room releases. Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring appropriate follow-up. Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities and equipment, including stock control and inventories. Train, coach and support team members in hotel standards, procedures, hygiene and safety. Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to ensure guest rooms and facilities are maintained properly. Assist with VIP arrivals, special requests and room preparation according to hotel standards. Support the Executive Housekeeper with administrative duties, staff planning, performance management and departmental reporting. Assume responsibility for the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
