The EMBL-EBI-Sanger Postdoctoral (ESPOD) Fellowships Programme is offered by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), building on the collaborative relationship between EMBL-EBI and the Wellcome Sanger Institute to fund postdoctoral projects that combine experimental (wet-lab) and computational (dry-lab) approaches.
The postdoctoral fellowship takes place on the Wellcome Genome Campus, where both institutions are located, giving fellows easy access to shared scientific expertise, well-equipped facilities, and an active seminar programme fostering close collaboration between EMBL-EBI and Sanger research groups.
The fellowship runs for 36 months, with a start date required within 12 months of the award, and provides a stipend at EMBL rates of 3,535.78 GBP per month.
