Role responsibilities:
- Own and execute the R&D strategy for the group - from idea creation to commercialisation.
- Train, support and mentor junior scientists within the team - offering invaluable technical guidance to enhance their potential.
- Lead R&D projects from planning to execution phase - manage resources, timelines, budgets, client communication etc.
Role requirements:
- PhD educated in a relevant scientific discipline - Molecular Biology, Plant Biology etc.
- 7+ years of industry experience not generated within academia is essential.
- Proven experience in taking ownership of creating and executing complex R&D projects.
- Sound scientific knowledge of different types of protein expression techniques and managing DSP activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of successful collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluent English.
