Overview
In this role you drive the European Cedent Facultative property reinsurance book, focusing on the DACH markets. You will build client and broker partnerships, originate and maintain business, and contribute to regional and global growth targets. You’ll balance profitability with strategic market engagement, collaborating across underwriting, pricing, and claims to deliver sustainable portfolio results. This role offers the chance to shape SCOR’s market leadership in Cedent Facultative Reinsurance in Europe, supported by a cross-border, collaborative team.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Receive, evaluate, and price offers from multiple sources; negotiate terms favorable to SCOR
- Develop and maintain client and broker relationships across Europe, with focus on DACH
- Support portfolio growth and diversification in line with the Facultative Guidelines and business plan
- Marketing and cross-selling of Group capabilities to clients and brokers
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring to regional underwriters; share market intelligence and best practices
- Collaborate with Claims, Pricing, and other regions to ensure consistent underwriting methodology
- Ensure data quality and reporting across IT systems and contribute to submission pipeline
- Research and report on new profitable growth opportunities and market trends
- Assist cross-LOB growth initiatives and participate in broker/client events
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Strong underwriting experience across the (re)insurance DACH market
- High technical acumen in property wordings and reinsurance/insurance, pricing models (proportional, non-proportional)
- Ability to travel
