Overview
In this role you ensure a governed, trusted data foundation for the Life & Health domain, transforming source data into robust Analytical Data Models. You lead cross-functional squads with a product-based approach to deliver continuous value, aligning data solutions with business metrics like premiums and claims. You act as the bridge between business, analytics, and engineering, enabling scalable analytics and AI use cases. This is a chance to shape the ADM roadmap and drive data quality end-to-end in a global reinsurer.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own the ADM and business ontology roadmap for the L&H domain, aligning with data strategy
- Ensure data is sourced correctly with aligned definitions, structure, and ownership
- Oversee ingestion, transformation and lineage to deliver accurate data and metrics
- Design Analytical Data Models reflecting L&H business processes (underwriting, claims, actuarial)
- Establish robust data quality controls and reconciliation across the data lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional agile squads with clear backlog prioritization and value delivery
- Serve as primary interface between business and data teams with strong validation and ownership
- Drive experimentation with AI and AI agents to improve data sourcing, modeling, and delivery processes
- Coach and mentor teams on governance, data management principles, and stakeholder management
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 7+ years of experience as Data Product Owner, Data Product Manager, or Data Foundation Lead
- Strong experience in end-to-end data flows: sourcing, transformation, and modeling
- Expertise in data modeling and Analytical Data Models or similar structures
- Proven ability to ensure data quality and correctness across pipelines
- Understanding of business processes and performance metrics in insurance
- Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Palantir Foundry or similar)
- Experience leading agile delivery in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data management frameworks
- Actuarial background or close collaboration with actuarial teams is advantageous
