Overview
In this role you will support senior management with capital, risk and economic performance analytics for P&C underwriting and retrocession. You contribute to SCOR's risk management framework by applying internal models to assess exposures and guide decision-making. You will collaborate across P&C, Reserving and Pricing teams to monitor risk profiles and report insights to regulators and leadership. The role combines analytical rigor with cross-functional partnership in a multinational, agile environment. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Assess and monitor P&C underwriting and retrocession risks to support adherence to risk appetite
- Apply internal model (SST, Solvency II) to evaluate underwriting risks
- Analyze portfolio exposures, concentrations, and diversification across lines, regions, and perils
- Perform scenario analyses and stress testing for adverse developments and market changes
- Provide risk insights to support informed decision-making for internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, solvency requirements, and governance standards
- Prepare and deliver risk reports for internal and regulatory audiences
- Contribute to development of risk appetite metrics, limits, and portfolio steering frameworks
- Collaborate with P&C business units, Reserving and Pricing teams to understand portfolio developments
- Partner with Risk Modelling teams to enhance SCOR’s internal model using practical experience and portfolio insights
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Qualified Actuary (SAV, DAV, IFoA) or equivalent qualification
- 10 years of experience in P&C insurance or reinsurance (pricing, reserving, capital modelling, or portfolio management)
- Experience communicating complex risk and capital metrics to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office; coding (preferred Python)
- Experienced project leader in an agile, multinational, cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in English
