Overview
In this role you shape front-to-back logic for compute-intensive applications using Python, DataBricks, Docker and Azure. You own key platform components in a senior, full-stack capacity and contribute to architecture and platform evolution. You collaborate across IT Modelling and Risk Delivery to deliver scalable, cloud-enabled solutions while mentoring teammates. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop Python/Docker-based web platform with reusable, testable code
- Extend front-end and back-end for task orchestration
- Design cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure; work with Linux, Docker, Databricks, JupyterHub, SQL Server
- Mentor colleagues and act as technical reference on complex topics
- Drive architecture discussions and modernization to improve performance, usability and scalability
- Collaborate with IT Technical, Architecture and DevOps on automation and incident management
- Lead migration to a new web stack and influence design decisions for a smooth transition
- Ensure UI integrates with server-side logic and contribute to DevOps adoption
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

- 7+ years of experience building complex, scalable applications
- Proficient in Git and DevOps practices
- Strong Python and Docker skills
- Deep full-stack expertise with ownership of platform components
- Experience in architecture discussions and platform evolution
- Mentoring experience and technical leadership in development, platform and DevOps topics
- Proficient in web development and web architecture
- Solid understanding of OOP, FP & SOLID design principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Several years in Financial Services industry, preferably Insurance/Reinsurance
