Overview
In this role, you will contribute to the development of goggles, helmets, and accessories across divisions such as wintersport, motorsport, and bike. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and factories to plan milestones, define technical solutions, and validate product aspects with engineers, PMs, and suppliers. You will oversee the 3D modeling process and coordinate industrialization and production with suppliers, while optimizing production processes in our factories. You’ll travel as needed and work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring innovative products to market.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Coordinate planning and milestone meetings for projects with cross-functional teams
- Perform research and define technical solutions aligned with production processes and product targets
- 3D modeling of concepts and solutions; coordinate final modeling phase with 3D modeler
- Validate technical aspects with engineering team, PMs, and suppliers
- Oversee industrialization and production coordination with suppliers
- Qualitatively and quantitatively optimize production processes in our factories
- Develop and implement product construction, assembly technologies, and production methods
- Evaluate and coach existing suppliers
- Advise on materials, applications, and new technologies
- Research new materials and processes for various product ranges
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Mechanical master thesis
- 3+ years in product development; experience with plastic parts is a plus
- Composite knowledge and injected parts experience a plus
- Strong CAD capabilities
- Willingness to travel
- Project management skills
- Good communication/interaction skills
- Fluent in English; German and/or French is a plus
