AutoScout24 is on a mission to revolutionize how marketing decisions are driven through data and analytics. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Analyst – (m/f/d).

What you will do:

  • Act as the subject matter expert and KPI owner for demand-side performance in our online car classifieds business—translating business questions into analytical solutions.
  • Drive strategic alignment and understanding of key performance indicators across teams, ensuring consistency in measurement, interpretation, and decision-making.
  • Deliver compelling data storytelling through dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analyses that clearly communicate performance trends and strategic insights.
  • Engage regularly with senior leadership, including C-level executives and investors, presenting findings and recommendations to influence business decisions at the highest level.
  • Conduct deep dives and driver analyses to understand performance trends, uncover growth levers, and advise stakeholders on critical business decisions.
  • Own and maintain the end-to-end data pipelines and models related to demand-side KPIs, ensuring their reliability and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Strategy to inform roadmap priorities and campaign direction.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reports (e.g., in Amazon Quicksight or Tableau) that provide actionable insights and empower self-service analytics.
  • Partner with analysts, data engineers, and tracking experts to ensure accurate and consistent tracking via data models, campaign structures, and UTMs.

What you will bring:

  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of online marketplaces—especially the demand side—and user behavior dynamics.
  • Proven ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in marketing, growth, or performance analytics—preferably within a B2C or marketplace environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in KPI ownership, including ensuring data accuracy, adapting metrics to evolving needs, and acting as the go-to expert for performance reporting.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL and modern data stack technologies (e.g., dbt, Airflow, BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake).
  • Strong experience with BI tools such as Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or similar—along with a sharp eye for data storytelling and visualization.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead cross-functional analytics initiatives.
  • Fluency in English.
