About SCRYPT SCRYPT is the operating system for digital assets.
Banks, asset managers, family offices, fintechs, and payment service providers run on SCRYPT - for trading, custody, asset management, and settlement. Regulated in Switzerland, operating globally, built for scale.
About the Role SCRYPT is hiring a Finance Analyst to own the full invoice-to-ledger cycle, maintain audit-ready books, support light treasury, and produce accurate monthly management reporting in a FINMA-regulated, multi-currency environment.
This is a hands‑on, ownership‑driven role for someone with 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit. Workload is flexible between 60% and 100%, based at our central Zurich office.
Reports to the Group COO.
The Bar Small team, senior bar, AI‑native by default. We hire builders who ship, not managers who maintain. One great hire beats three average ones, so we hold the bar even when the seat is empty. Ownership from week one. Velocity from day one. If you need a long runway before you contribute, this isn’t the role.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts payable and invoices: Process all incoming invoices end to end: validation, coding, approval routing, and payment scheduling; Reconcile bank-to-invoice across all operating accounts, on a monthly cycle; Maintain supplier records, payment terms, and the invoice tracker
Ledger and bookkeeping: Maintain the general ledger across all SCRYPT entities: postings, accruals, prepayments, intercompany entries; Run month‑end close: reconciliations, journals, balance sheet substantiation; Keep books audit‑ready year‑round under Swiss CO and GwG retention requirements
Audit handoff: Prepare and own the audit pack for Big 4 handoff; Act as first point of contact for auditor queries; gather supporting documentation and reconciliations; Track and close audit findings to deadline
Treasury (light): Monitor cash positions across fiat and entity accounts; flag liquidity gaps; Prepare payment runs and support FX and funding movements; Maintain the cash forecast
Monthly reporting: Produce monthly management accounts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance commentary; Build and maintain reporting workbooks; deliver clean numbers to the COO on a fixed monthly calendar; Support quarterly board and investor reporting inputs
Job Requirements
2 to 3 years in finance, accounting, or Big 4 / audit
Abacus know-how or equivalent bookkeeping software
AI native and fluent: Claude, ChatGPT, or other models used daily in workflow
Strong reconciliation and Excel skills; ERP or accounting‑system fluency
Working knowledge of Swiss GAAP / CO; multi‑entity and multi‑currency exposure an advantage
High accuracy, first-pass-right discipline, and ownership under deadline
English fluent; German an advantage. Swiss work authorisation or EU/EFTA national
Nice to have: Crypto, fintech, or regulated financial services background. Exposure to FINMA / VQF reporting environments
Why choose SCRYPT
Real ownership of a function - not a slot in someone else’s org chart
A team where AI tooling is native, not a “transformation initiative”
Direct access to founders, board, and clients. Flat hierarchy, no middle layers
Meaningful equity in a Series A institutional crypto company building toward unicorn scale
Swiss‑anchored, globally operating - regulatory rigor where it matters, volume where it counts
Next Steps Send a CV and one paragraph on the most automated finance workflow you’ve built – what was manual before, what’s automated now, and what it saves.
