The role
As an International Key Account Manager, you manage a portfolio of international mid‑market clients within our Global Solutions division. These clients operate across multiple countries and rely on SD Worx as a strategic partner for payroll and HR services.
This is a strategic account management role with a strong focus on existing business. You are responsible for growing account value, strengthening client relationships, and aligning our solutions with evolving international needs. At the same time, you remain hands‑on in managing day‑to‑day commercial interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the single commercial point of contact for a portfolio of international mid‑market and enterprise Global Solutions clients, with full ownership of the relationship
- Drive sustainable account growth by identifying upsell opportunities, extending existing contracts, and increasing overall account value (ACV)
- Proactively understand client needs and translate these into tailored payroll and HR solutions, leveraging strong and trusted client relationships
- Lead and influence commercial conversations at both tactical and strategic level, positioning SD Worx as a trusted partner in payroll outsourcing and HR transformation
- Own the commercial, contractual, and escalation aspects of the account, ensuring close alignment with internal stakeholders such as Service Delivery, Product Management, Legal, and external partners
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial or contractual role within a B2B environment, preferably in payroll, HR services, or outsourcing solutions
- Experience working in a multi‑country or matrix organisation
- Experience managing international clients
- Excellent German and fluent English
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe

Salary range information will be shared with candidates during the initial interaction with the Talent Acquisition team, either by phone or email.
You will join an international sales team of six colleagues based across the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain. The team focuses on building and growing long‑term partnerships with international mid‑market and large enterprise clients.
This role offers a strong level of ownership and strategic impact, combined with hands‑on involvement in client management. You contribute directly to the growth of our Global Solutions business while working in a structured and collaborative international environment.
