Role Summary

For our location in Magdeburg, we are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Leader as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and timely shipping processes, as well as monitor goods receipt, storage, and order picking
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff (both in-house and external personnel) in a 2-shift operation
- Plan work schedules and ensure the onboarding of new employees
- Train new employees in warehouse operations
- Maintain performance and quality standards, and provide appropriate KPI reports for customers and management
- Ensure cleanliness and order in the warehouse and storage areas
- Conduct regular inventories and analyze warehouse processes to identify possible process improvements, implement new warehouse management systems, and collaborate with other departments
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and quality standard
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks
- Willingness to work shifts
Requirements
- Completed vocational training (e.g., warehouse logistics specialist, freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) - ideally with further qualification as a logistics master - and/or a degree in logistics
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in tire logistics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Assertiveness, a high sense of responsibility, initiative, and drive
- Proficient in MS Office, warehouse management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
