For our location in Magdeburg, we are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Leader as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and timely shipping processes, as well as monitor goods receipt, storage, and order picking

Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff (both in-house and external personnel) in a 2-shift operation

Plan work schedules and ensure the onboarding of new employees

Train new employees in warehouse operations

Maintain performance and quality standards, and provide appropriate KPI reports for customers and management

Ensure cleanliness and order in the warehouse and storage areas

Conduct regular inventories and analyze warehouse processes to identify possible process improvements, implement new warehouse management systems, and collaborate with other departments

Ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and quality standard

Conduct regular audits and quality checks

Willingness to work shifts
Requirements
-
Completed vocational training (e.g., warehouse logistics specialist, freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) – ideally with further qualification as a logistics master – and/or a degree in logistics

Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in tire logistics

Strong organizational and communication skills

Assertiveness, a high sense of responsibility, initiative, and drive

Proficient in MS Office, warehouse management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
