Data Solution Architect

• Define and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures for data products and pipelines on Snowflake and AWS.
• Design and optimize entity-relationship models to ensure accurate data representation and seamless integration within the data ecosystem.
• Ensure Data Quality & Governance
  • Establish frameworks for data integrity, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship
  • Provide guidance to data engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders
  • Work closely with data product owners, business teams, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Drive Cloud-Native Implementations
  • Lead the adoption of cloud-native technologies and best practices for data pipeline development on AWS and Snowflake.
• Optimize Performance & Scalability
  • Design solutions that ensure high performance, scalability, and efficiency in handling large datasets and complex workflows.
• Develop Technical Roadmaps
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data product development, incorporating industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Implement best practices for code quality, observability, and automated testing to ensure reliable and maintainable data solutions.
• Enhance Data Observability
  • Establish monitoring frameworks for data pipeline performance, data quality, and system health.
• Maintain Documentation
  • Create and manage architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and data models to support knowledge sharing and future development.
• Evaluate New Technologies
  • Continuously assess and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve data solution efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure Security & Compliance
  • Implement robust security measures, access controls, and compliance frameworks to protect data assets and adhere to industry regulations.

Requirements

• Technical Leadership Experience
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams in data architecture, data product development, and data pipeline solutions on Snowflake and AWS.
• Experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures, ensuring scalability and efficiency in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Experience with Snowflake & AWS
  • Extensive background in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake and AWS-based technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data analysis, with an additional 2+ years specializing in data solution architecture for enterprise-scale ETL.
• Advanced SQL Skills
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation, optimizing data retrieval performance.
• Experience with Data Vault 2.0
  • Applied Data Vault 2.0 principles in data modeling, architecture, and implementation for flexible and scalable data solutions.
• Performance Optimization & Scalability
  • Proven ability to optimize and fine-tune data pipelines, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Structured & Unstructured Data Handling
  • Experience working with diverse data sources, including structured and unstructured data, ensuring seamless integration and processing.
• Strong Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting Skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex data challenges efficiently in large-scale data environments.
• Proficiency in Python Development
  • Hands-on experience in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation within data pipelines and analytics workflows.
• DevOps & CI/CD Practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration and deployment of data solutions.
• Systems Integration & Data Ingestion
  • Experience in designing and implementing data ingestion and integration strategies for large-scale data ecosystems.
• Exceptional Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.
