You will work with systems such as DCS, MES, data historians and databases, ensuring reliable data exchange and smooth operation of manufacturing applications. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, configure and maintain software applications supporting manufacturing and automation processes /li liDesign and implement integrations between DCS, MES, historians, databases and other manufacturing systems /li liDevelop solutions using C#, SQL, PowerShell and VBA /li liSupport interfaces and data exchange between IT and OT environments /li liTroubleshoot software and system issues and perform root cause analysis /li liTest, commission, qualify and deploy software solutions /li liMaintain and improve existing applications to increase reliability, performance and usability /li liPrepare technical, functional and software design documentation in accordance with GMP/GxP and company standards /li liSupport software validation, change management and version control activities /li liEnsure compliance with data integrity and cybersecurity requirements /li liWork closely with Automation, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle /li /ul h3Requirements – Must Have /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field /li liStrong IT background with knowledge of software development, databases, networking and system integration /li liProfessional experience with automation or manufacturing systems, such as DCS, MES or data historian platforms /li liGood knowledge of C#, SQL, PowerShell and/or VBA /li liExperience with software lifecycle management and application support /li liPrevious experience working in a GMP/GxP-regulated environment /li liExperience creating technical and GxP-compliant documentation /li liStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills /li liFluent English and/or German /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences manufacturing /li liKnowledge of DeltaV, Syncade, PI System or similar industrial platforms /li liExperience with software validation, CSV/CSA methodologies and data integrity /li liUnderstanding of OT infrastructure and cybersecurity /li liExperience with Git or other version control systems /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ul liSoftware Development Application Support /li liDCS / MES Integration /li liSQL Database Management /li liC# / PowerShell / VBA /li liIT/OT Integration /li liGMP/GxP Documentation /li liSoftware Validation Testing /li liCommissioning Deployment /li liTroubleshooting Root Cause Analysis /li liChange Management Version Control /li /ul h3Role in simple terms /h3 pThis is a software-focused automation role.
