For our Electrical Safety Solutions (ESS) business unit, we are looking for an ambitious and energetic ERP Production Engineer to implement ERP projects and improve the overall production ERP system (Oracle E-Business Suite).
Responsibilities
- Participate in ERP Operational projects.
- Keep an automation mindset and use ERP system to auto-generate standard daily actions.
- Develop (and implement) solutions in our internal ERP (EBS Tools), keeping the related documentation updated.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for ERP system improvement.
- Identify best practices and create appropriate processes to avoid human mistakes.
- Work closely with 2 other production sites located abroad.
- Notify the sales team regarding any possible impact to customers on our late deliveries.
- Support daily activities related to production.
- Analyze production data, develop, provide reports, customer information and materials inventory.
- The position requires less than 10% travelling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years’ experience in production supply chain.
- Fluent in French and English; other languages are a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel and VBA are a must.
- HTML & PHP skills are appreciated.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP systems; Oracle experience appreciated.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on daily operational business and on medium term activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Analytical mindset, pragmatic, collaborative with colleagues, ownership/accountability, and willingness to automate repetitive work.
