Overview
In this role you enable safe, reliable railway energy supply projects by leading installation and commissioning of rectifier substations across Germany. You work closely with project teams to move from implementation to final acceptance and manage on-site assembly teams. You ensure timely, quality execution in line with standards, perform essential electrical tests, and diagnose faults. This position offers hands-on impact on large-scale railway infrastructure within an international, collaborative environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Coordinate planning, installation and commissioning of rectifier substations at customer sites across Germany
- Support projects from implementation to final acceptance; organize and manage on-site assembly teams
- Monitor quality, schedule, and compliance with planning documents, standards and regulations
- Carry out electrical protection and functional tests on medium- voltage switchgear up to 30 kV, DC switchgear up to 3 kV, transformers and low-voltage systems
- Perform fault diagnosis and develop effective solutions to resolve issues
- Prepare construction plans, bill construction services, and manage acceptances
- Coordinate and monitor suppliers on the construction site
- Maintain regular communication with customers, service providers and authorities
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed training or studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable technical field
- Experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation or related fields such as power distribution, renewable energy, industrial plants, mechanical engineering, rail vehicles or similar environments
- Proven experience coordinating construction sites with multiple suppliers (buildings, automation, switchgear, transformers, electrical installations)
- Basic knowledge of standards/regulations (VOB, HOAI, VDE) or willingness to learn
- Switching authorization for systems up to 30 kV
- Self-confident appearance, strong communication, commitment and flexibility
- High willingness to travel throughout Germany
