Overview
As an Electro-Mechanical R&D Engineer, you will translate advanced concepts into robust, manufacturable designs for railway safety and power systems. You will collaborate across departments to support and mature products with complex multi-physical requirements. You’ll lead design-for-manufacturing efforts and coach teams on robust design practices to reduce cost and increase reliability. This role offers hands-on testing and a meaningful impact on innovative, safety-critical hardware in a global company.

Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics or Mechatronics (or similar)
- Knowledge of tolerance management, robust design, and design-to-cost
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (SolidWorks, Comsol, Ansys)
- Development of complex systems spanning electrical, mechanical, and magnetic domains
- Implementation of robust design into industrial products
- Experience in inventing advanced concepts and solving critical issues
- Broad knowledge of machining and materials (plastics/thermoset)
- English required; French and/or German preferred
- GD&T (ISO GD&T) and tolerance management in SolidWorks
