Overview
In this role you will translate advanced concepts into robust, manufacturable designs within a multi-disciplinary team at Sécheron’s Geneva site. You will drive design-for-manufacturing and cost-efficiency while coaching others toward robust solutions for complex electro-mechanical products. You’ll work hands-on with experiments and testing to validate concepts and support existing products. This opportunity sits at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, and magnetic engineering, shaping industrial safety solutions for rail and related domains.

- Master in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
- Tolerance management, Robust Design, Design-to-Cost, Finite Element Analysis (SolidWorks, Comsol, Ansys)
- Development of complex multi-technology systems (electrical, mechanical, magnetic)
- Implementation of robust design into industrial products
- Inventive problem-solving and role as a key contributor
- Broad knowledge of machining, materials (plastics/thermoset)
- English mandatory; French and/or German desirable
- Geometrical Product Specifications (GD&T) and Tolerance Management in SolidWorks
- Functional Analysis, FMEA
- Electrical engineering fundamentals/Power electronics
