Overview
As Project Manager for switchgear construction in our railway power supply projects across Germany, you lead technical, schedule-based, and commercial execution from planning to on-site commissioning. You coordinate DC power supply systems within the group and serve as the primary interface between customers and the international project team. You steer design, procurement, FATs, risk management, and contract-related activities to ensure timely delivery. This role blends technical leadership with customer collaboration in a dynamic, international setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Overall technical, schedule, and commercial project execution from planning to commissioning
- Lead DC power supply system projects across the group from planning through on-site commissioning
- Main interface between customers in Germany and the international project team
- Technical coordination with design, engineering, and commissioning teams
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and services
- Coordinate FAT at Prague facility and site acceptance tests at construction sites
- Quality management, risk assessment, mitigation implementation
- Schedule planning, cost estimation, project controlling, and reporting to management
- Customer relationship management, claim management, and change management
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification (or equivalent vocational/path)
- Knowledge of switchgear design and electrical plant construction (medium/high voltage), protection systems, and secondary engineering
- Prior project management experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and commercial skills
- Experience in leading project teams, contract and claim management, and billing/progress payments
- Ability to coordinate project phases from tender to final acceptance under pressure
- Independent, flexible, reliable work style; strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- German and English proficiency
