The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE within our department „Sales Germany“ has arisen within Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH in Berlin or Sulzbach (Taunus) near to Frankfurt am Main .

The contract duration of VIE is 12 months with starting date from February/March 2025 .

Tasks & accountabilities:

Your main task will include:

  • Sales support: Assisting senior account manager with sales activities and potentially handling smaller accounts independently.
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on account performance and client interactions.
  • Product knowledge: Developing a thorough understanding of Airbus Public Safety and Security products and services to better serve clients.
  • Administrative tasks: Handling paperwork, data entry and other administrative duties related to account management.
  • Market research: Staying informed about industry trends and McX competitor activities.
  • Internal collaboration: Working with other departments to meet client needs and resolve issues.

Required Skills:

  • Graduated in a technical or commercial field
  • First experience in Sales is an advantage
  • Proficiency in relevant software, e.g. CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • Strong affinity to complex technologies

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Clear verbal and written communication, excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple clients and tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities
  • Collaboration skills with different departments (sales, business analysts, tech. support, legal)
  • Analytical skills, e.g. data interpretation, basic financial understanding
  • You are able to negotiate in English, an advanced level in German is a plus
