Our IT department is a central component of SEEBURGER’s business success and is responsible for the secure, efficient, and future-oriented operation of IT systems. The department consists of several teams: IT Management, IT Infrastructure, IT Desktop Service, and IT Operations.
IT Management is responsible for the strategic direction of IT, consists of IT Project Management and IT Service Management, and serves as a link to the business units. IT Infrastructure manages networks, servers, and cloud platforms. IT Desktop Service supports end users as well as their workplace systems and applications. IT Operations ensures the stable 24/7 operation of all productive systems.
The department\’s main locations are Bretten (Germany) and Sofia (Bulgaria), supported by teams in the USA, India, and other national subsidiaries. This international structure enables high service quality, fast response times, and stable IT services for the entire company.
As Team Lead IT Infrastructure, you take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the infrastructure team at the Bretten location and work closely with the team lead of our IT Infrastructure team in Bulgaria. Together, you ensure a high-performance, secure, and future-ready infrastructure—both for our internal systems and for various customer systems operated in multiple data centers.
Your Tasks

• You lead the IT Infrastructure team at the Bretten location both professionally and disciplinarily
• You work closely with the Bulgarian Infrastructure team in Sofia and its team lead
• You are responsible for the operation, further development, and security of the entire infrastructure environment—locally, in data centers, and in the cloud
• You take care of network, servers, storage, virtualization, backup, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, M365), and their interaction
• Together with IT Project Management, you plan, manage, and implement infrastructure projects in both corporate and customer contexts
• Together with IT Service Management, you further develop standards, processes, and technical documentation
• You coordinate regularly with the other IT teams within Corporate IT
• You coordinate external service providers and are partially responsible for budget matters in your area

Your Profile

• You have a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure, ideally also with initial leadership experience
• You possess solid expertise in areas such as networks, Microsoft server environments, virtualization (e.g. VMware), storage systems, backup solutions, and cloud architectures
• You have experience working with international teams and communicate confidently – also in English
• You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and enjoy supporting and developing a team
• You have a good sense for technical and organizational contexts and actively contribute your ideas to projects and processes
