Position Overview

As Senior VP Project Management Office Manager Hydrogen (m/w/d), you will lead the Project Management Office (PMO), shaping strategic direction, managing project portfolios, establishing standard processes, and driving continuous improvement to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of project management professionals, implement best practices, and contribute to company goals through effective project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO, define goals and priorities aligned with corporate strategies.
• Develop and maintain PMO policies, procedures, and standards based on industry best practices.
• Standardize project management methods, processes, and tools across the organization.
• Monitor and prioritize the project portfolio according to strategic alignment and resource availability.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and optimize resource allocation.
• Track KPIs to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate on resource identification and allocation for projects.
• Implement resource management processes for optimization and forecasting.
• Support project managers and teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Facilitate governance processes and ensure compliance with PMO standards.
• Review project plans for quality and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO and project practices.
• Lead initiatives to enhance methods, tools, and training.
• Gather feedback and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• IPMA Level C certification or equivalent preferred (Level B preferred).
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies.
• Extensive experience in leadership roles within project management and PMO functions.
• Proven success in managing complex projects and portfolios.
• Experience in process improvement, change management, and organizational development.
• Industry experience in renewable energies or construction is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and activities.
