Senior Analyst or Associate | Leveraged Finance | Frankfurt:

A leading European investment bank is looking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate to join its Corporate & Leveraged Finance team in Frankfurt.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly active financing platform focused on the origination, structuring and execution of transactions for both private equity sponsors and large-cap corporate clients across the DACH region and wider Europe. The team is involved in a broad range of financings, including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, refinancing transactions and other event-driven situations, while also advising clients on capital structure and strategic financing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the origination and execution of leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions for leading private equity clients.
• Assist in the structuring and execution of bilateral, club and syndicated debt financings for corporate borrowers.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis, business model assessments and industry research.
• Analyse corporate capital structures, financing strategies and financial performance.
• Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasting and debt capacity analysis.
• Prepare transaction materials, credit papers and presentations for internal approval committees.
• Coordinate internal workstreams across Risk, Syndications, DCM, ECM, M&A and Coverage teams.
• Support the preparation of client marketing materials and pitchbooks.
• Assist with financing documentation, due diligence processes, mandate negotiations and transaction closings.
• Work alongside Syndicate and Sales teams throughout the syndication process, including investor materials and Q&A management.
• Monitor and manage designated portfolio exposures post-closing.

Candidate Profile:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience within Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Corporate Banking, Debt Advisory, Investment Banking or a related financing environment.
• Strong financial modelling, credit analysis and analytical capabilities.
• Good understanding of leveraged finance structures, capital markets and corporate credit.
• Experience evaluating corporate business models, financial performance and transaction risks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills are essential.
• Highly motivated, proactive and capable of thriving in a fast-paced transaction environment.
