Job Title: Associate – Financial Advisory

Location: Frankfurt or Munich, Germany

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Associate to join a Financial Advisory team in Frankfurt or Munich. The Associate will work as part of client teams providing a wide range of services, including general financial advice, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructurings, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospective clients.
• Supervise junior staff members in financial analyses.
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements.
• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Create financial models and perform business due diligence.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing pitches.
• Value companies and businesses.
• Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-4 years of investment banking or comparable experience.
• Outstanding academic achievement.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to build financial models.
• Ability to manage own work and that of analysts in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
