What You\’ll Do

• Be the go-to expert on global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and help shape internal policies and practices.
• Guide teams through privacy impact assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements—from NDAs to licensing deals.
• Advise leadership on corporate compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic transactions.
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex international matters.
• Stay ahead of legal trends and help foster a culture of ethics and proactive compliance.

What You Bring

• Qualified lawyer (Germany or UK) with several years\‘ experience, ideally in-house at a global tech company.
• Deep knowledge of privacy regulations and commercial/corporate law.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communicator with a knack for simplifying complex legal concepts.
• Fluent in English AND German; other European languages are a plus.
• Business-savvy, collaborative, and comfortable working across borders and disciplines.

Location & Travel

Based in Berlin (or optionally in the UK), with occasional travel across EMEA and to the US headquarters.
