Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our clients dynamic team in Munich. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for private equity. As a Junior Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting their investment and portfolio management activities, contributing to the success of their clients and the growth of our firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analyses and valuations of potential investment opportunities
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio management
• Assist in the identification and analysis of attractive target markets and companies
• Support the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and market assessments
• Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior team members on transaction structuring and execution
• Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations for value creation

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or venture capital
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
