Job Title: Senior Analyst – M&A and ECM Transactions

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our clients Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will play a key role in the origination and execution of M&A and ECM transactions, working closely with our sector teams in Paris and coverage teams across Europe and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of M&A and ECM transactions across various industry sectors
• Prepare pitch book presentations, including company valuation, financial analyses, and strategic transaction proposals
• Support the creation of financial models and conduct strategic industry research
• Draft memoranda, proposals, and other transaction-related documents
• Collaborate with sector and coverage teams to ensure seamless transaction execution
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes impacting M&A and ECM activities

Qualifications

• Master\’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and ECM transactions
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is a plus
