To strengthen our young and motivated team, we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/x) full-time, to start as soon as possible.
As a Senior Sales Manager, you are responsible for the entire sales process, including planning, coordinating, executing, and ensuring the quality of service offerings and tenders in our Renewables Division for the Offshore Wind Service sector. You have extensive experience in stakeholder management, including regulatory authorities, investors, contractors, and grid operators. We value a team-oriented work environment that provides room for innovation and individual ideas.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage proposal and tender processes from lead generation to contract closure and project handover.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including during negotiations and trade fairs.
- Understand and integrate customer needs into tailored sales strategies and innovative service concepts, while identifying cross-functional and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure high-quality bid preparation and documentation while driving continuous improvement in sales processes and tools.
What we are looking for:
You are someone who can take on challenges and find solutions, but above all, you are a team player with excellent communication skills and negotiation talent.
- A completed degree in a relevant field (M.Sc. / Dipl. Ing. / B.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another technical field) or a comparable qualification. Commercial and legal expertise, as well as specific multi-year experience, are advantageous.
- 5 years of professional experience with sales processes and proven success in contract negotiations in at least one area of the wind industry, preferably offshore wind or grid and transmission technology.
- A proactive, open-minded nature combined with an affinity for renewable energies and the corresponding market environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex information and translate it into compelling proposals both visually and in writing.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence and build networks effectively, as well as to establish trusting and long-term relationships with customers.
- Capability to translate project requirements into contractual language and to summarize relevant content for decision-making for different stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
