Your position
In your new position as Senior Corporate Counsel, you will become the first in‑house legal colleague based in Germany and play an important role in supporting our growing German business. You will work closely with colleagues across our German locations as well as with the wider Legal team in Denmark and Poland.
Your tasks & responsibilities
- Providing high‑quality legal advice to our Renewables division, including the German business and relevant Group stakeholders
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, often in complex and time‑sensitive settings
- Acting as a trusted legal advisor for our organisation and supporting day‑to‑day business decisions
- Identifying, assessing and mitigating legal and commercial risks in close collaboration with the business
- Supporting decision‑making on contractual, commercial and risk‑related matters across projects and functions
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced legal professional who enjoys working close to the business and who is confident in balancing legal quality with commercial reality. You have a self‑driven and independent approach to your work while believing in the strength of teamwork and collaboration.
- A master’s degree in law as well as professional fluency in English (written and spoken); both are firm requirements for this position
- 10(+) years of experience within commercial law, international agreements, in‑house legal advisory or a similar legal environment
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Experience from the energy sector, offshore wind, international construction law and B2B negotiations, preferably with knowledge of FIDIC principles, BIMCO agreements or similar frameworks
- An analytical, structured and professionally robust way of working
- Confidence in advising senior stakeholders and translating legal risks into commercial guidance
- A broad sense of humour, curiosity and you are happy to cooperate with good colleagues
- Appreciation for an international, professional environment with 11 legal colleagues in Denmark and Poland
