What you can expect
- You are the central contact person for the accounting of our subsidiaries, for specialist departments and external contacts (auditors, tax consultants).
- You will take care of the commercial issues in the process of buying and establishing an investment (shares in our subsidiaries), as well as mapping the investment organization chart of the SENS Group.
- You actively support and coordinate technical specifications for our subsidiaries in the preparation of financial statements and accounting reporting.
- You standardize and further develop processes and structures in accounting (incl. subsidiaries) in consultation with your direct supervisor.
- You further develop the ICS as well as internal and external reporting at company level.
- You optimize the consolidation process, among other things by maintaining, developing and monitoring the chart of accounts and the consolidation tool.
- You ensure accounting in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
- You actively participate in the preparation of the individual financial statements (including notes and management report) of the German companies in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- You prepare and coordinate the consolidated financial statements of the SENS Group in accordance with IFRS on your own responsibility.
- You are responsible for special projects in the finance area.
- You prepare decision-making bases and reporting from accounting, taking into account the requirements of management.
What you bring with you
- Degree in business administration or comparable qualification.
- Relevant, multi-year (at least 6 years) professional experience in group accounting within an international company and/or an auditing firm.
- Relevant, very good knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
- Strong commercial understanding as well as analytical skills and affinity for numbers.
- High degree of personal responsibility and commitment, as well as results-oriented way of thinking and working.
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and intercultural competence.
- Confident handling of MS Office programs as well as experience with ERP and consolidation tools.
- Very good knowledge of German (C1) and English (C1).
