The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) seeks a Lead Facilitator for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) in Vilseck, Germany.

Responsibilities
- Deliver standardized curriculum to Military service members and veterans through small and large group instruction, both in-person and virtual.
- Guide participants in setting career goals, identifying employment or education gaps, and developing job‑search strategies.
- Prepare and submit training reports for assigned hub; ensure facilitators maintain certifications and follow curriculum.
- Observe and mentor new facilitators; provide weekly Q‑and‑A support.
- Validate weekly and quarterly facilitation schedules; proactively communicate concerns to stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel assignments and adhere to expense policies; travel up to 25% reimbursement.
- Attend weekly regional manager meetings (virtual) and respond to emergent facilitation needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 4 years of recent specialized experience, or major certification with 6 years, or High School diploma with 8 years of experience in Workforce Solutions or HR Specialist roles.
- Prior classroom instructor experience and knowledge of private and public sector employment processes.
- Ability to provide training to up to 50 participants.
- Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
- Strong communication skills with Military clients and government representatives; comfortable public speaking and engagement with a diverse audience.
- Excellent time‑management, ability to work independently, and adaptability to emergent assignments.
- Must meet country‑specific employment requirements (e. g., ECOPS).
