Fullstack ABAP Cloud Developer (all genders)

For candidates located in Hamburg or Norderstedt, Germany: flexible hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite, the rest in home office.

For candidates located elsewhere in Germany: 100% remote.

About the role:

As a Fullstack ABAP Cloud Developer at Serrala, you will design and build SAP-based solutions to streamline payment and finance processes, enhancing cash visibility for clients.

You will work closely with product owners and the development team, learning best practices while contributing to high-quality, customer-focused products.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements, collaborate with the product owner, clarify dependencies.
• Solution Design: Engage in technical design, documentation, impact analysis, and proof of concept creation.
• Execution: Break down user stories, set timelines, write clean code, maintain documentation, prepare for production.
• Agile Practices: Participate actively in agile methodologies.
• Collaboration & Mentoring: Drive initiatives at the organizational level, mentor junior team members.

What makes you a good fit:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience with ABAP-OO, OData, REST.
• 1+ years experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps and FIORI Elements.
• Experience in designing and developing business applications.
• Proven track record with ABAP Cloud applications and the RAP model.
• Skills in defining behaviors in managed and unmanaged environments.
• Proficiency in CDS views, business objects, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean-Core Principles.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
• Experience in AGILE environments is a plus.
