Serrala is working on a bold and innovative plan to develop its next-generation cloud-native enterprise payments solution. To achieve this vision, a new Center of Excellence was created in Pune in 2019. The Pune CoE boasts of cross functional teams that build SaaS products from scratch, onboard customers and offer post-implementation support. Requirement Analysis
- Analyze requirements, design solutions together with the product owner, clarify and communicate dependencies.
- Solutioning/Designing: Engage in and own the technical design process, including solution architecture, technical design, documentation, impact analysis and proof of concept creation.
- Execution Excellence: Break down user stories, set timelines, write clean and efficient code, maintain documentation, and ensure readiness for production, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Business Agility: Actively engage in agile practices, including Scrum/Kanban.
- Collaboration: Collaborate actively, drive to participate and collaborate in initiatives on an organizational level, mentor junior team members, and contribute to technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
- Technical Ownership: Take ownership of technical topics, challenge technical assumptions and contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
Technical/ professional qualifications
- Knowledge of ABAP-OO, SAPUI5 and FIORI Elements
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP RESTful Application Programming model (RAP)
- Proficient in creating and managing CDS views, business objects, and data modeling using Core Data Services
- Highly experienced in the design and development of business applications
- Experience with OData services and SAP S/4HANA development.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite
- Experience with SAP BTP, including Integration Suite, API Management, Cloud Connector and Destinations.
- Experience with SAP Integration APIs and Extensibility Frameworks.
- Knowledge of Clean Core principles would be beneficial.
- Exposure to SAP Financial modules would be highly beneficial
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD for SAP landscapes would be beneficial.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Joule would be an advantage.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of work experience with ABAP-OO, OData, REST.
- 2+ years of work experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps and FIORI Elements Apps.
- Experience with solution architecture and technical design.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and SAP BTP technologies.
- Experience with technical leadership and mentoring.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong communication skills and technical ownership.
- Fluent in English.
