| LRF(G) (East) SNCO IC Vehicle Inspector will support and sustain the modernised fleet programme.
• Technical advisor to Wksp OC, ASM, AQMS, SNCO IC Inspts and on all matters regarding SIM 14.
• Key PoC for vehicle inspection activities as an EngS.
• Plan, forecast, and co-ordinate resources in effective delivery of ES to ensure the success LRFG (E) output activities aligned directed FPS training season exercises.
• Ensure ES Mat is managed correctly within the department.
• Ensure the correct maintenance of technical documentation within department.
• Provide advice and mentor JAMES users within Inspections Department.
• Inspections EC Manager.
• Work in alignment with EMS and conduct audits.
• Implementation and the upkeep of Engineering Standards and Engineering Hygiene within Inspections Department including adoption of EMS directed practices.
• Ensure periodic management checks are conducted monthly, to ensure Inspections Department remains compliant to current policies and procedures
• Implement and record actions relevant to distributed SNvE and ENvE.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of ES doctrine.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of Corps, Army and MoD policies.
• Assure that all inspections are conducted in accordance with in-service policy.
• Deliver and oversee inspection refresher training e.g., RBT, DSM, SIM refresher and VICT initial/renewal.
• Liaise with LRFG (E) FM/MTWO/Garrison Movement Control Officer for vehicle road tests and brake tests.
• Directly brief LRFG (East & West) OC Wksp/LRFG(E) ASM/AQMS/SNCO IC Inspts on current vehicle inspection quality and any policy issues or concerns.
• All other tasks as directed by LRFG (East & West) OC Wksp/LRFG (E) ASM/AQMS/SNCO IC Inspts. |
