Project Developer- SolarWind Energy

Our client is a Spanish leading company in the development and generation of solar photovoltaic energy in southern Europe with the aim of actively contributing to decarbonization and making the global energy model based on clean energy. They are searching for a PV Project Developer / Projektentwickler.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the PLA obtaining in the established timing.
2. Manage feasibility analysis of new potential projects including preliminary transmission studies and permitting.
3. Foresee and solve problems or needs of the Project Development process.
4. Carry out control and follow up of a Project Development budget.
5. Guide the Technical Department when obtaining the permits regarding interconnection.
6. Develop greenfield business opportunities in coordination with the Business Development Department.
7. Maintain a permanent contact with the local authorities.
8. Inform the company management of any changes in the regulations that may affect the business of the country.
9. Follow up the Project Development contracts and inform the Administration or Legal Departments if there are expiring guarantees, breach of agreements, need to make changes or innovations in a contract, etc.

Requirements

1. Masters / Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, Environmental or similar.
2. 5 years of experience in similar positions in the Renewables sector (wind or solar).
3. Environmental Profiles with experience with local governments also welcome.
4. Native German and fluent in English.
5. Knowledge of the renewable sector regulations, policies, etc.
6. Ability to analyze economic models and technical details.
7. Effective communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership.
8. Able to work autonomously.
9. A driven, highly motivated, and proactive individual.
10. Detail-oriented.
11. Takes ownership of their responsibilities and strives to get the job done.
12. Team player, one that understands the results of team collaboration.
