Your mission

As the Data Product Manager, your mission is to revolutionize the way small businesses manage their finances by leading the development of AI powered accounting solutions. Collaborating closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Design counterparts, you will define the strategy and roadmap for AI/ML integration, ensuring that our solutions not only meet user needs but also align with company goals and stakeholder expectations. Your focus will be on using the potential of AI/ML to create innovative, user-centric solutions that genuinely solve user problems, rather than chasing the latest tech trends.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

1. You define and align the AI powered accounting product strategy and roadmap with company goals.
2. You optimize workflows and processes in cross-functional team settings between data scientists, engineers, and designers for efficient product delivery.
3. You will initialize the development of AI products that meet real user needs and are key opportunities in the field of AI.
4. You conduct UX research to ensure that the solutions are not only functional but innovative and user-friendly.
5. You will set clear success metrics for products focused on user satisfaction and business outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
6. You mentor PMs and Engineering teams on AI integration, simplifying complex concepts to clearly articulate product value to stakeholders and customers.

Your qualification

1. 5+ years of professional experience in Product Management, including 2+ years with Data Science, AI, ML Engineering teams.
2. Proven track record in bringing products to market in cross-functional teams, with a focus on customer needs and market fit.
3. Proficient understanding of AI/ML and user-focused design.
4. Strategic thinker with experience in developing and executing product strategies achieving business outcomes.
5. Exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse teams and stakeholders.
6. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
7. Fluent in German and English (B2 level) and live in Germany.
