Duration: Initial contract with potential extension
We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of next-generation embedded products for a leading technology company in Berlin.
You'll work closely with hardware and software engineers on the development, integration and optimisation of embedded software for innovative consumer hardware products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++
- Work with Embedded Linux and hardware-level software
- Support device drivers, interfaces and hardware/software integration
- Debug and optimise software running on embedded hardware
- Contribute to system architecture, testing and product integration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary hardware and software teams
Experience
- Strong commercial Embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience with Embedded Linux
- Good understanding of ARM-based embedded systems
- Hardware/software integration and debugging experience
- Experience with Yocto, device drivers or BSP development is advantageous
- Experience with audio, DSP or consumer electronics would be a bonus
