We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to support a large and complex E-Government environment. The role combines test management, test infrastructure coordination, release management and close collaboration with technical teams, service providers and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate test systems for eGov.Swiss
- Plan and coordinate the availability of test environments with developers and operations teams, including instance planning
- Manage incidents and coordinate resolution of issues affecting test and production infrastructure
- Coordinate test activities with test leads, testers and other stakeholders
- Support the Test Lead throughout the overall testing lifecycle and test processes
- Review test cases and provide hands‑on support during testing activities
- Provision test clients, required software and user access/authorisations
- Prepare, coordinate and lead release deployments and upgrades
- Act as Test Manager for specific government initiatives and projects
- Work closely with the Service Manager, Release Manager and technical specialists
- Support the implementation of test automation, followed by transition into operations and continuous improvement
- Ensure continuous knowledge transfer to the internal organisation
Key Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of system integration, particularly:
- IAM / eIAM
- SAP
- GEVER / archiving
- Input and Output Management / VLM
- Strong, demonstrable experience with GEVER Bund / Acta Nova
- Experience with E-Government solutions, including customer portals and web-based applications
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within a large, complex system landscape involving numerous stakeholders
- Experience leading release implementations and upgrades within complex IT environments
- Good understanding of the Swiss Federal Administration / Bundesverwaltung
- Experience working with internal and external service providers, ideally within or alongside the Federal Administration
- Experience or good understanding of test automation
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Highly service‑oriented, structured and solution‑focused approach
- German near native level
Ideal Profile
You are a technically strong Test Manager who is comfortable operating between testing, infrastructure, releases and operations. You can coordinate multiple technical teams and stakeholders while maintaining oversight of complex test environments, dependencies and release activities. Previous experience within the Swiss Federal Administration and with GEVER Bund / Acta Nova is particularly important.
