Position Summary:

You will develop PLC software and control concepts, simulate and test the software in advance, participate in projects, perform on-site commissioning, document your work, and engage in requirements engineering.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing automation systems (PLC)
  • Developing and implementing process control solutions
  • Creating safety concepts for machinery
  • Programming and commissioning Siemens PLC systems
  • Technical offer creation, effort estimation, and project execution

You will be supported by an experienced mentor to guide you through the learning curve if needed.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar (e.g. Technician)
  • Proficiency in common programming languages
  • Initial experience in PLC programming and visualization
  • Self-motivated, reliable, solution-oriented
  • Enjoy learning and growing through challenges

Top Requirements (Must-Haves):

  1. At least 5 years of professional experience
  2. Strong self-management and independent work style
  3. Solution-oriented with a focus on achieving deadlines
  4. Communication skills – client feedback handling, paraphrasing
  5. Project management competence (KPT, R, MAK, M&E, Controlling)
  6. Mentoring skills – able to support junior engineers

Nice to Have:

  • Native German speaker or C1/C2 with strong technical language skills
  • Motivation to switch for meaningful projects, cutting-edge technology, and development opportunities
