System Developer for Ultra-Sensitive Optical Fluorescence Microscopes
This position is available in our System Development department and involves the integration of modern optical concepts into automated microscopes.

Your Tasks:
- Integrating modern optical concepts into automated microscopes within interdisciplinary teams, based on your specific expertise
- Building, characterizing, and optimizing optical systems according to various target parameters
- Developing concepts for ergonomic and production-ready implementations

Your Profile:
- Completed degree (preferably with PhD) in Physics, Physical Technologies, or comparable, proven qualifications
- Several years of experience in building optical measurement setups, especially in fluorescence microscopy
- Experience in the design and construction of complex and compact optical beam paths
- Awareness of the current state of research and technology, and good networking in the (optical) community
- Ideally, experience at the interface of optics/electronics and software
- Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level)
