Project Manager Bioassays

Overview In this role, you will manage bioassay projects for release and stability testing of biologics under GMP. You will lead method development, optimization, and validation, acting as the primary client contact to ensure scientific and technical quality. You’ll plan timelines, review data, and ensure GMP compliance, while supporting laboratory operations and using digital QA tools. This position offers impact by shaping bioassay programs in a global quality-driven environment. Verantwortungsbereiche Manage bioassay projects for release and stability testing of biologics Develop, optimize, qualify/validate methods and compile reports Serve as primary client contact and communicate with customers Ensure GMP-compliant scientific and technical quality Plan project scheduling and monitor progress Review and approve data and reporting per GMP Ensure GMP regulations and compliance are followed Use electronic tools such as eQMS and LIMS Operate and support analytical devices Organize and supervise practical laboratory work Zentrale Anforderungen Degree in biology, biochemistry, or related subject (PhD advantageous) 2–3 years hands-on experience with cell-based and/or immunological assays GMP-regulated environment experience (advantage) Self-motivated with pro-active client interactions Independent, efficient working style with management aptitude Team player with leadership potential Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills Excellent English and good German, written and spoken Strong IT skills (MS Office, LIMS) Accurate, timely execution of experiments with high quality Exemplary laboratory organization and personnel management strong communication client-focused team leadership bioassay development cell-based assays immunological assays
